G4 is a professional development program run by IGDA Japan (International Game Developers Association Japan, a non-profit organization), designed to build practical skills for bringing games to international markets.
G4 official website: https://www.gggg-project.jp/
The program is supported by the Agency for Cultural Affairs, Government of Japan, through the Creator Support Fund established at the Japan Arts Council.
Over roughly two and a half years, through March 2028, participants attend more than 26 lectures and take part in on-site visits to game events overseas, building their knowledge and hands-on skills in global game marketing.
Only ten people in Japan were selected for the program. I'm grateful for this opportunity, and I'll work hard to bring what I learn back to the Japanese games industry.
